A business floral subscription sounds easy: someone else arranges it, your office or hotel always looks well-maintained, and you don't have to worry about it. But how does such a subscription really work? What do you get, what does it cost, and why are companies increasingly opting for a subscription to artificial flowers instead of fresh ones? In this guide, we explain everything step by step, so you know exactly what to expect.
What is a business floral subscription with Blooms?
At Blooms, a business floral subscription means we take care of the complete floral decoration of your business space(s) with premium artificial flowers from the Botané collection. You pay a fixed monthly fee and receive:
- A complete floral decoration tailored to your space, ambiance, and brand identity
- Professional installation on-site by our styling advisors
- Periodic seasonal changes (typically quarterly or semi-annually)
- Maintenance and replacement for wear or damage
- Take-back service for old bouquets — part of our circular chain
You never have to buy, dust, store, or throw away flowers yourself. We handle the entire process — from concept to change.
Who is a floral subscription for?
A subscription is interesting for any organization that wants flowers structurally in one or more spaces, without wanting to deal with selection, purchase, maintenance, or storage. Typical clients include:
- Hotels and hotel chains with multiple locations that want a uniform appearance
- Offices with reception areas, meeting rooms, and canteens — from 1 to 50+ locations
- Restaurants and catering companies where fresh flowers are difficult due to hygiene reasons
- Real estate groups that want to present model homes or commercial properties
- Retailers and showrooms with seasonal styling needs
- Healthcare institutions and waiting rooms where allergens are a problem
How does the process work?
Step 1: Workspace advice (free)
Through our workspace advisor, we get an idea of your space: dimensions, light incidence, existing interior style, target group, and brand identity. This can be done online or with an on-site visit.
Step 2: Customized proposal
Our styling advisors create a concept proposal with suitable bouquets from the Botané collection, matching vases, and a placement plan. You see exactly what goes where and what it costs.
Step 3: Contract and start
Upon agreement, we schedule a start date. Our people deliver the bouquets on-site, place them, and your space is immediately ready for use. No installation hassle.
Step 4: Periodic changes
Depending on your contract, we change the bouquets quarterly or semi-annually — or earlier if something gets damaged. Seasonal changes keep the space fresh and give visitors the impression that active attention is paid to the presentation.
Step 5: Take-back and circulation
We take back old bouquets for refurbishment and reuse. Broken parts are separated for material recycling. You have no waste stream and contribute to a circular chain.
What does a floral subscription cost?
The exact price depends on the number of bouquets, their size, the change frequency, and the number of locations. An indication for an average office (8 bouquets, quarterly change, 1 location):
- Start-up phase: €0 — we deliver the bouquets with the first change
- Monthly: approximately €180 to €320, depending on size and composition
- One-time set-up: included in the subscription
For comparison: a weekly fresh flower subscription for the same number of bouquets costs around €1,440 to €1,760 per month. Our artificial flower subscription is therefore on average 5 to 8 times cheaper, without sacrificing quality. Calculate it precisely with our price calculator.
What is NOT included in the subscription?
Transparency: we like to state beforehand what is and what is not included. Not included are:
- One-time events outside your permanent decor (e.g., an anniversary or opening)
- Fully customized designs with special flowers not in the Botané collection — this is possible, but through our customization service
- Insurance against willful damage (normal wear and tear is covered)
Contract duration and flexibility
Standard contracts run for 12 months and automatically renew monthly. Cancellation is possible with a notice period of 1 month. Do you have multiple locations or a growing office? The contract can be extended in between without new set-up costs. Scaling back? That's also possible — you only pay for what is there.
Why do companies choose a subscription instead of a one-time purchase?
Many companies start with a one-time purchase of bouquets. After a year or two, they often notice:
- The seasonal change is lost — the space always looks the same
- Damage accumulates and there is no one to fix it
- There is no proactive eye for styling — new spaces or changes are neglected
- Facilities does not want to manage inventory
A subscription solves this in one go: we are the owner and the responsible party, you pay a fixed amount and are relieved of the mental burden.
Frequently asked questions
Can I start with 1 location and expand later?
Yes. Many clients start with a pilot at their head office and then expand. Our contracts are designed for this.
Do I always get the same bouquets back after a seasonal change?
No, that's the fun part: every seasonal change you get new arrangements that suit the season. Summer gets fresh tones, autumn warm tones, etc.
What if I'm not satisfied with the initial proposal?
Then we'll adjust it — free of charge, until you are completely satisfied. Only then does the contract start.
Can I also buy without a subscription?
Certainly. You can order individual bouquets or have a one-time custom arrangement made through the customization service.
